I was learning the properties of gases and liquids allowing bubbles to form inside bubbles. I learned that liquids has surface tension and allows the bubbles to expand and get bigger. It happen this way because of the tension it has.
I was learning how magnet fields push and pull magnets. I learned that the strength of a magnet is measured by its magnetic movment. I think It happen this way because of the magnetic power.
What I did in scouts in engineering was aviation. We learned the lift and drag on a plane. Lift is when the plane goes faster and is able to take off, drag is to slow down the plane. We made planes out of styrofoam and had a penny on the top of the plane. The penny was used for the weight to make it fly. One of the TASK engineering designs was like a aurora. They used a fan to spin pieces of paper in a circular motionand the fan acted like a wind turbine.
In the contraptions exibit in echo was the drum machine. The drum machine was my favorite because you get to pull the levers to tell it to play on the specific instrument.
